Arthur Lehrer is a business leader whose more than 35 years of healthcare experience have focused on improving payers' cost-effectiveness and enhancing the interaction between users and information technology systems. His accomplishments since joining ViPS in 1983 have resulted in significantly increased operational efficiency for healthcare payers, the Medicare Program and for ViPS.
Mr. Lehrer was named President of ViPS in June, 2006. In this capacity, Mr. Lehrer has responsibility for the entire VIPS organization, overseeing ViPS corporate software and business solutions development, as well as setting strategic direction for both the government and commercial sectors. Previously, he served as general manager of ViPS' Government and consulting divisions.
Under his leadership, ViPS Government Solutions Group successfully expanded its core business of supporting Medicare Part B claims processing systems to include Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Part A systems support, claims automation tools, fraud and abuse software applications, and a substantial consulting practice focused on data warehousing and related business intelligence solutions.
Prior to joining ViPS, Mr. Lehrer obtained firsthand knowledge of healthcare insurance programs and claims processing systems at two major insurers: Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and Empire Blue Cross and Blue Shield.
Casey Corcoran
Vice President, Health Payer Solutions
With more than 18 years of expertise in information technology (IT) and product development, Casey Corcoran has a broad background in core IT architecture systems, application development/delivery, systems/engineering administration, IT governance and service delivery. He has served in key leadership roles managing product development and management as well as strategic planning, marketing and sales. At ViPS, Mr. Corcoran plays a critical role in shaping strategic direction that will support the company’s expansion and presence in the commercial healthcare information management market. His responsibilities include oversight of business services and ViPS core product groups: fraud protection analytics and care analytics. He also spearheads new commercial products and services in areas such as data warehouse development and content management, portal and web-enabled technology, business intelligence (BI), sales, marketing and operations/customer service management. With more than 150 people in his organization, his teams support some of the nation's largest, most complex commercial healthcare organizations and are responsible for delivering robust healthcare BI and expert guidance for care management and fraud protection.
Prior to joining ViPS, Mr. Corcoran held executive positions for global-market enterprises. Notably, he served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Fairchild Corp. where he was responsible for eBusiness, eMarketing, customer service, business process management and workflow, business applications and IT infrastructure. Additionally, he was responsible for worldwide engineering support for Business Service and Infrastructure Management applications at ASG Software Solutions.
Denise M. Crawford
Operations, Government Solutions Group
Denise Crawford has more than 20 years of experience in data processing and management for healthcare's government sector. Under her leadership, ViPS has consistently set the bar in both quality and service for the company's government customers, such as the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Ms. Crawford is currently accountable for all aspects of government contracts including project management oversight, staff and budget management. Additionally, Ms. Crawford is responsible for overall customer satisfaction serving CMS under the ViPS Medicare System (VMS) contract. Heading up a team of more than 150 specialists, Ms. Crawford leverages a thorough understanding of metrics, planning and organizational expertise to achieve outstanding results on assignments. Her extensive experience gives her a strategic understanding of healthcare claims data, systems, as well as CMS' Systems Development Life Cycle processes. Prior to her current position, Ms. Crawford served in senior management positions for ViPS' Medicare and consulting divisions.
George Hoffmann
Operations, HealthPayer Solutions Group
George Hoffmann offers more than 20 years of data processing experience, including 15 years dedicated to healthcare management information systems. While Mr. Hoffmann has extensive knowledge of the public healthcare sector, he is also an expert on the private sector - working strategically to create best-of-breed products in medical management data warehousing and analysis, overpayment and fraud protection, HEDIS® Quality Improvement and physician performance measurement. Mr. Hoffmann is currently responsible for all software product development and day-to-day operations of the commercial business unit at ViPS. Prior to his present post, Mr. Hoffmann was responsible for all CMS Part B/DMEPOS maintenance activities. He also served as the implementation manager for ViPS' HealthPayer Solutions software, providing project management and systems integration oversight. Before coming to ViPS, Mr. Hoffmann was a senior programmer analyst for United Services Life Insurance Company.
Sara L. King
Human Resources, ViPS, Inc.
Sara King has more than 14 years of professional experience in developing and leading a successful human resources team. Her extensive knowledge in organizational development, human resources management, training, staffing, performance management, benefit administration and employee relations has directly contributed to ViPS successful growth over the years. In her current role, Ms. King is responsible for managing the more than 500-employee base of ViPS. She is directly responsible for all of ViPS' HR planning and strategy, organizational development, recruiting and staffing, training and development, performance management, compensation/incentive plans, employee relations, benefits, workforce retention and compliance. Prior to joining ViPS, Ms. King served in both the healthcare and educational industries.
Tammy Kness
Vice President, Government Solutions Group
Tammy Kness has more than 17 years of experience in the information technology field, with 11 years operating as a senior manager. She has a proven background in defining, developing and directing the delivery of software solutions for both the state and federal government as well as for the healthcare, insurance, finance and transportation industries. In her current role, Ms. Kness provides project management oversight, resource management, budget analysis, strategic planning, business development support and customer relationship management for ViPS' government business unit. Under her leadership, her team helps ensure that complex, multi-tier, data-intensive solutions for the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) are delivered on time and performing effectively. Prior to joining ViPS, Ms. Kness worked in key capacities for SYSCOM and Keane.
Jana M. Von Bramer
Marketing, ViPS, Inc.
Jana Von Bramer has more than 20 years of business-to-business and retail
marketing experience, of which more than 15 years have been in healthcare
and financial services. Ms. Von Bramer's strong foundation in branding and
strategic communications has been instrumental in helping ViPS grow and diversify
its offerings. In her current role, Ms. Von Bramer helps drive strategic
positioning and communications for ViPS' business units and multiple product
lines while establishing marketing strategy with HLTH Corp. subsidiaries
and business segments. Prior to joining ViPS, Ms. Von Bramer was an independent
consultant and served in senior management positions for leading Fortune
500 companies.
