ViPS President Selected to Serve on National Summit on Health Care Fraud

On Thursday, January 29, 2010, Mr. Lehrer served as a panelist for the National Summit on Health Care Fraud at the Natcher Conference Center in Bethesda MD.  Due to his expertise in healthcare fraud, waste and abuse, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) selected him to participate in the afternoon strategic planning breakout session, Use of Technology to Prevent and Detect Fraud and Improper Payments.  As a participant in this session, Mr. Lehrer joined experts with Government program and private sector fraud experience to discuss how to capitalize on the use of existing technology to support current investigations or to determine targeting of proactive investigations.
